Immunity System as Embodied Documentary: Steve Sangedolce’s Dead Time –Kalli Paakspuu [pdf]

Bio: Filmmaker, scholar and new media artist, Kalli Paakspuu will defend her doctoral dissertation, “Rhetorics of Colonialism in Visual Documentation” at the University of Toronto in 2009.  Her thesis examines early colonial cross-cultural photographic practices and the dialogic storytelling modes on both sides of the camera.  She was the Chair of the jury at Est Doc Film Festival, 2008 and currently teaches in the Culture and Expression Programme at York University.
